So……“What are you going to DO next year?”
Here at the Johnson Intern Program we believe young adults are asking a different question:
“Who do I want to BE?”
JIP is a 10 month program designed to help young adults discern the “voice” (life’s work) that is calling them, and to develop the skills required listen and respond.
JIP welcomes single young adults between the ages of 21 and 30 who have completed their college educations and who desire a year to serve others and to explore the spiritual/faith questions that bring meaning to life.
JIP creates a diverse community that strives to diminish the boundaries that typically divide humanity.
Our program opens each year in early September and ends in late June.
______________________________________________________________________
JIP has two rounds of applications to fill the 8 positions we have open for the 2008-2009 program year.
Deadlines for the 2008-2009 program year are March 1 and April 30.
JIP moved to a dual deadline application format to accommodate those who need to plan early as well as those whose plans may take shape a bit later. We do not designate the number of slots that will be open for the second deadline, and we always encourage you to check with us at any time, as slots may open up later for a variety of reasons. We always love to hear from potential candidates.
